Practically Prepared Postpartum
4 virtual visits, 75 minutes each
In the U.S., it is standard to only have one postpartum visit at 6 weeks postpartum. Practically Prepared Postpartum aims to fill the void the U.S. healthcare system has left in postpartum support.During the postpartum visits we will:
Review and process your birth story
Discuss how you’re feeling/adjusting in your new role as a parent (or new role as a parent adding another child to their family)
Discuss your physical healing
Discuss your emotional wellbeing and review tools to use when things feel challenging or overwhelming
Review your sleep and make a plan to help optimize the amount of sleep you get each night
Discuss your core and pelvic floor and review resources to help with healing for both
